Last week, we had a chance to visit Mango Art Festival, an art exhibition held in the River City Bangkok. Both Thai and foreign artists join this event, including independent artists, famous artists, and art gallery owners. There are different interesting zone we can walk through without getting bored such as an exhibition zone, hand-made goods, and a live performance.
The purpose of the Mango Art Festival is to inspire and drive the economy by using arts. They compile many artists from different art genres together here such as illustrators and designers. They also allowed the young autistic artists to exhibit and sell their works.
Now we will introduce all of the main zones in this event. Including the Art Galleries Many art galleries around Bangkok have brought their works to show at this event, for example, PHUPHA ART, SO GALLERY BANGKOK, JANFIVE STUDIO, and many more.

Next is the Product Design. This part of the exhibition will be focusing on furniture and house decoration. We decide to introduce 2 brands that we think are interesting.

The first one is MAKKHA CRAFT. The product from this brand is home appliances like a lamp and candlestick. Their work style is to create patterns on stainless steel and most of it is hand-made.

The second one is AMOARTE. The concept of this brand is to create glamorous furniture based on sustainability or reuse reduce recycle.
Independent Artist is one of the most interesting zones that light up this event. Many independent artists show up at the event with their unique and fascinating works.

ARTSTORY BY AUTISTICTHAI a foundation for autistic young artists. They sell adorable art pieces made by young autistic people, the products they sell will be artworks and hand-made mats.

Moreover, other artists have exhibited their works here too such as BE CHANIDA / CHALIT NARKPAWAN / WUTTHICHAI BOONTHAM. These 3 artists are focusing on abstract art that emphasizes using unique colors to create beautiful works.
For anyone who searching for a souvenir, there is a zone that sells a variety of hand-made products. For example, RESINDROME focuses on handmade products made from resin Decorated with colors, glitter, and beads. Every piece in the store is different and unique which means every single one of them will be one of a kind.

Last but not least, we have an exclusive interview with one of the artists to exhibit their work at the Mango Art Festival which only Meraki gets this special opportunity. Stay tuned!
